The W/A intercooler system ensures perfect functioning of the generator independently by the external ambient temperature therefore the alternator and the engine work at ideal temperature optimizing the performance and reliability of the gen-set. The CBU control panel features big display and soft touch buttons for quick menu navigation, IP54 protection grade. Very compact (86x124 mm) with a 10-m shielded connecting cable. • ON/OFF/START/STOP/MENU controls. • Digital hour-meter, Main voltage, Generator Battery voltage, external battery pack voltage, Frequency, etc. • 13 different alarm icons displayed. • 485 Mod-Bus connector for monitoring generator by boat main control monitor. Engine • Easy access in case of maintenance of feeding system, lubrication system, sea/water pump and air filter. • Safety stop in case of low oil pressure. • Safety stop against overtemperature of engine and exhaust gas. • Double vibration dumping system. • Easy-to-replace oil filter and fuel filter. • Oil drain pump provided. Alternator • Synchronous, 2 poles, self-adjusted, self-excited, brushless. • Weatherproof epoxy resin coated rotor and stator. • Dynalically balanced rotor. • Insulation class H. • Safety stop against coiling overtemperature. Soundproof cabinet Self-bearing frame made of aluminium profiles and lightweight coated marine 5754 aluminium alloy panels featuring extremely high weatherproof properties. Cooling system The engine is cooled using a liquid coolant run through a closed circuit. Two independent pumps make the liquid coolant and sea water run inside a cupronickel heat exchanger to improve heat transfer from internal parts of the engine.
